My inspiration for becoming a teacher has been through my mom. She is an Early Childhood Educator and has worked teaching and caring for children ages 6 months to 12 years old. She found her passion was teaching French as a second language in a preschool setting and has now been doing that for 20 years. Her career has influenced my decision to pursue a Bachelor of Education. I have had the opportunity to visit her at her job many times throughout my life and it was inspiring to see the relationships she had with her class and their families. The love the children had for her and the way they openly shared it was amazing.

I look forward to building strong relationships with my own students and their parents when I am a teacher!
